I am Chryssie. I have Asperger's Syndrome (AS). I review all the books and movies on this site.
At the age of 45 I discovered I have AS (no thanks to the useless medical profession). This revealed to me thet many of the things I thought were my (difficult) character-traits were actually just symptoms of a disorder.
On 1 hand it was a tremendous relief - "Oh. That explains everything!" On the other hand I felt very bewildered, in thet I now recognized half of my own behavior was not even the real me.
I have since become an expert on the subject and alleviated my symptoms by about 3/4 (see my How To Recover page). And every year I improve a bit more.

In my 9th year I received 13,408 visits and 219,844 hits.
In my 10th year I received 13,116 visits and 132,002 hits.
In my 11th year I received 10,581 visits and 116,972 hits.
In my 12th year I received 10,260 visits and 168,603 hits.
In my 13th year I received an impressive 14,296 visits and an astronomical 789,430 hits. Wow!
All this with no advertising (on my part) what-so-ever; it is all just word-of-mouth. Thank You!
